Adding MyCase Saved Activity to Billables

 
 

Note: the following only applies to MyCase activity categories. MyCase does not currently support auto-syncing of UTBMS/LEDES codes. To use UTBMS codes, we recommend the manual MyCase CSV export.

MyCase includes an activity type that can be assigned to each time entry. Saved activity types are often customized to each firm (see example below):

Billables AI will automatically sync recently used activity categories, but due to a limitation from MyCase, not all activity categories from MyCase will show up in Billables AI. To add all or new activity categories in Billables AI, take the following steps:
 

Adding MyCase Activity Codes to Billables AI

  1. Go to the Billing Codes page in Billables AI and click on the Custom Codes tab:
  2. Add new codes by selecting the "+" button and typing in your new code

  3. These codes will now show up when you edit or add your time entries:
 

Finding your list of Activity Categories in MyCase

  1. To see your firm's list of Saved Activity codes, go to your MyCase account and click on Billing > Time Entries.
  2. Click on the Saved Activities tab:

FAQs

Why are only some of my saved activities from MyCase showing up in Billables AI?

Due to an API limitation from MyCase, Billables AI is only able to sync some of the saved activities from MyCase (usually the most recently used ones). To add more of them, see the instructions about. 

What if I add a new activity category to Billables AI that doesn't exist in MyCase?

Any time entries that get sent to MyCase with the new activity categories will automatically update MyCase's list of activities.
