Learn when and how Billables AI is able to seamlessly capture activity across devices like mobile, desktop, laptop, tablet and more.
Billables AI tracks work based on how an integration is configured. Some integrations are tied to an account or service and therefore track activity across devices, while others are device- or profile-based and only track activity on the specific device where they’re enabled.
This approach ensures accurate time capture for core work while giving users clear control over what is tracked.
Account-Based Integrations (Tracked Across Devices)
These integrations are connected at the account or service level, so activity is captured regardless of which device you use:

Email (e.g., Outlook, Gmail): Time spent drafting and sending emails is tracked across devices when you’re logged into the same email account.

Video & VoIP Calls (e.g., Zoom, Teams, VoIP integrations): Calls are captured across devices based on the integrated calling or conferencing account.

SharePoint / OneDrive Documents: Document activity is tracked across devices because it is tied to your Microsoft account, not a specific device.
These integrations help ensure that work performed on mobile devices or secondary computers is not missed.
Device-Based Integrations (Not Tracked Across Devices)
These integrations are tied to a specific device, browser, or profile, and activity is captured only where tracking is enabled:

Browser activity (Chrome, Edge, etc.)

Local document activity outside of SharePoint or OneDrive (Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat)

Other desktop or application activity that is not connected through an account-level integration
If you work across multiple computers, these integrations must be enabled separately on each device.
