Visit the Integrations page and find the Documents + Desktop Application section to download the installer for Adobe:

Click on the Mac or Windows button to download the file. Unzip the file and run the “billables-local-setup” program.

This installer also includes the install for the optional Word and Excel macros which work with the Microsoft Add-In

The following instructions will focus specifically on the Adobe installation.

Click "Get Code" on the Billables Integration page to get your unique Adobe Acrobat code.

When prompted, enter the unique code displayed on the Integrations page, then click Install.

You may be prompted to allow the change - enter your computer password if so.

You'll see a Success screen upon completion:

Do I have to be logged into a specific Adobe account?
You can be logged into any Adobe account. Since it runs locally on your computer, it doesn’t matter which account you are logged into.
Will this capture activity Adobe doc activity on my phone?
No, this will only capture Acrobat activity on the computer where you have the extension installed.
Will this work across multiple devices?
If you use Adobe on multiple devices (laptops, desktops), you will need to install the extension locally on each device.
Why am I sometimes getting an error when I open a pdf?
The Adobe extension requires Internet connection to track time. If you are offline, it may give an error and it will resume tracking when you're back online.
