Enable individual Clio integrations to export activity records from Billables to Clio.

The organization must first have Billing Code integrations enabled with Clio before individuals can activate their Clio export. See this link to learn more about the Clio Billing Code Integration.

To activate the Clio Activity Export Integration, go to the Integrations page and Click to Enable your integration:

Now, when you finish reviewing each day, you can submit your activity directly to Clio from your dashboard:

Can I see which days have been released to Clio?

Yes, days that were successfully released to Clio will show up on your calendar view as such. Note: if a day was only partially successful (some entries failed to be released) the day will not be marked as "Released to Clio".

How do I know if my time was successfully released to Clio?

If the button at the top of your dashboard reads "Released to Clio" with a checkmark, this means all approved entries were successfully sent to Clio. Otherwise, you'll see a red outline around the time entries that were not successfully released.

Why were some of my entries unsuccessfully released to Clio?

Clio requires a matter to be associated with each time entry. Before releasing time, make sure all of your approved entries have a matter assigned.

What do I do if there are errors?

Once a time entry has been exported to Clio, it cannot be re-exported. We do this to avoid duplication and manage version control. If you have any changes to make to your time entries after export, we recommend making those changes directly in Clio. Otherwise, we suggest reviewing your time entries and making revisions in Billables directly before exporting as your edits will improve and personalize the platform for you.
