Create your Billables AI account

Account Creation

There are a few ways to create an account on Billables AI:

  1. Billables AI setup. A Billables AI team member will set up an account for you as part of the onboarding process.

    1. You will receive an email inviting you to create your account and set your password. 

  2. Firm admin invitation. A firm admin who has already set up their Billables account can invite other users from their firm to join the organization.

    1. If you are an admin, you will be able to add other users from your org on the Teams tab in the Settings page.

    2. If you are a user from a firm, please request an invitation from your firm admin. You will receive an email inviting you to create an account as part of your firm's Billables AI account.

  3. Self-service Signup. If you have been pre-qualified for a Billables AI account or trial, you will receive notice via email from a Billables AI team member, at which point you can create your account directly at https://accounts.billables.ai/sign-up

FAQs

What are the different account types?

  • Admin: Ability to set org-level permissions for billing preferences and to edit billing codes

  • Billing Code Editor: Ability to add, edit, or delete billing codes on behalf of the org

    • For Clio users, no billing code editors are necessary since they are automatically synced from Clio.

  • Member: No org-level editing access

 

Who has access to my account?

No one will have access to your account except for you unless you share your login credentials. No one at Billables or your firm is able to see your dashboard activity.

 

I created an account but it says there is no associated organization.

This happens if an account is created without a firm admin inviting you via Billables. If you get this message, reach out to support@billables.ai to request that your account be linked to the firm's account.

 

How can I update my payment settings?

To update your payment preferences, see the payments customer portal.

 

Can I create a non-paid account for an administrator who does not need to bill time?

Yes, we can create a Non-Billing Admin account that will not be charged a subscription. Please send an email to support@billables.ai specifying the name and email of the person responsible for this account.

 

How can I cancel my account?

While we're sorry to see you go, we are committed to help you with your transition. To cancel your account, please update your status (including payment) through the Stripe customer portal.
