Updating the Microsoft Docs Add-In
Check to see if you have the latest Microsoft Docs Add-In
The latest version of the Microsoft Docs Add-in is v1.2.0 . Open a doc and activate the Add-in to see which version you have:
Update your Add-In to the latest (IT Admin access required)
If you are running an older version of the Add-in (e.g. 1.0.0), reach out to your IT admin to have them update the Add-in for all users in your firm, following the instructions below:

Go to https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home?#/Settings/IntegratedApps

Click on the Billables Assistant extension:

Click on “Update add-in”:

Click on "Provide link to manifest file" and add the following link: https://static.billables.ai/word-add-in/1.2.0/manifest.xml

Click Validate and wait for the file to be validated. Then click "Next":

Click "Accept and Update":

You should see a confirmation screen. This means the Add-In has successfully updated. Please re-start Word for the Add-in update to take hold. If you see v1.2.0, that means you have the latest version:

In some cases, it takes up to 24 hours for the updates to show up in your Word, Excel or Powerpoint application. If your app still says version 1.0.0, you can force an immediate update following the steps below.

Refresh Word Add-In

Click the Add-In icon at the top of your Word app, then select "More Add-ins"

Click on the Admin Managed tab:

Click "Refresh" in the top right:

Select the Billables Assistant Add-In, then click "Add" in the bottom right:

The new Add-In should be deployed to your application. Please re-start Word and confirm you're seeing version 1.1.1:
