Zoom Integration

The Zoom integration includes all Zoom Meetings (video, audio) and Zoom Phone

Get started:

  1. IT admins need to install the integration on behalf of members of the org. See more.

  2. Each user will need to activate the integration on their integrations page. See more.


Individual users won’t be able to enable the user managed Zoom App until the account managed app is approved and added by the IT Admin for their account.


[Users] Installation Instructions

Go to your integrations page on the Billables website. Select "Click to Enable" to activate your Zoom integration.

If the integration was successfully set up, you will be redirected back to the integrations screen and the Zoom button will now read "Click to Disable". You will also start seeing time stamps for your last Zoom activity.

If the "Click to Enable" button is greyed out (see below), this means your organization's Zoom admin has not yet granted access to Billables AI. Please direct your Zoom administrator here for steps to authorize Zoom for the organization.

Pro Tip: Enable "Keep me signed in" when joining a Zoom meeting so you never miss activity.

Using the Zoom Integration

Once the integration is enabled, and as long as you remain logged in, Billables AI will generate billable entries for:

  • Any video calls, audio calls and Zoom Phone calls

  • Any calls joined from browser or app on any device (phone, computer, tablet)

  • Any hosted or attended meetings

  • Any pre-scheduled or ad hoc meetings

As a reminder, Zoom activity will not be captured if:

  • you are not logged into your Zoom account

  • you use a free, individual Zoom account

[Users] Removal Instructions

Navigate to the integrations page on the Billables website. Click the Disable button. This will remove your integration with Zoom and there will no longer be any billable entries created for Zoom activity.

FAQs

Will Billables Zoom integration work for all Zoom accounts?

Currently, the Billables Zoom integration only works for paid Zoom accounts at the Pro and Business level. Free Basic Zoom accounts do not support the Billables integration.

Why isn't my Zoom activity showing up?

  1. Make sure you have a Pro or Business account (Free Basic Zoom accounts won't work with Billables' integration).

  2. Make sure you have Zoom enabled on your Integrations page. This may require IT admins to enable permissions first.

  3. Make sure you're logged into Zoom account. If you join a meeting without signing in, it won't be captured.

I can't enable the Zoom integration - why is that?

The Zoom integration requires that the same email address you used to sign up for Billables is what you use to login to Zoom. To view or change your Zoom email address, visit Zoom.us, then click on Profile on the left and scroll down to the Sign In section. You can see which email address is associated with your account and click Edit to change the email.

I'm still not able to integrate Zoom - why is that?

If your Zoom account was set up as it's own organization, you will need to authorize Zoom at an org level and individual level. Reach out to use to request a Zoom org permission link: support@billables.ai
